Mincemeat bliss balls
Mince pies are definitely my winter favourite, and this year I wanted to try making something healthy-ish, but still delicious (who knows what I will be making next year?)
They are so flavourful, you can taste the warming cinnamon and cloves, the tangy ginger and star anise, and the moist candied peel.
They make an exquisite gift or you could just make them for yourself ;)
- 175g mince meat
- 25g hazelnuts
- 85g oats
METHOD:
1. Add half of the oats to the food processor and pulse into a fine dust, then add all the other ingredients and pulse until well combined.
2. Scoop out half a tablespoon amounts, slightly press the mixture between the palms of your hand and roll to form balls.
3. Leave at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Store in the fridge.
3. Leave at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Store in the fridge.
